As a lifelong Democrat, I had no problem voting for Obama.
Today I do have a problem because of his problems.
Obama’s problems are:
He inherited a mess and turned it into a disaster.
He embraced enemies and alienated friends.
He accepted responsibility but none of the consequences.
He plays the blame game and makes up his own rules.
He had a very casual relationship with the truth.
He didn't attempt to reach across the political aisle.
He was a leader
only to those who agree with him.
He mistook abstinence
and petulance as the hallmarks of leadership.
He was
an ideologue and remains one. And ideologues do not make good leaders
because they are rendered inflexible by their ideologies.
He dealt from the bottom of the deck by playing the race card.
He was not
rebuffed because of the color of his skin but because of its thinness.
Yes I voted for
Obama last time - but for the last time.
