Akin Hurtn' The GOP

Todd Akin has been invited to appear on virtually every mainstream media TV show since his infamous comments about rape. Under the guise of wanting to know his rational for his stated position the media has successfully cast the light of absurdity on him. Unfortunately that dim witted out of touch politician has become the face of the Republican Party, partly because of the exposure he has been eagerly and willfully given by the media. Guilt by association works for the media except when it comes to the likes of the bigot, hate mongering, Reverend Wright and far left wing nut, anarchist Bill Ayers.

In spite of the fact that he has been asked, by Romney and other leaders of the Republican Party to step aside from the race competing for a seat in the Senate, he clings to his quest for notoriety and power. His party is suffering while that of his opponents’ is rejoicing.  His is truly a case of blind ambition. 

To make matters worse there are far right wing ideologues in the Republican Party who are as clueless and as out of touch with reality and the sentiments of the vast majority of citizens of this country as is Akin.

This issue will not go away until he does!
